Block grouping and rulers are finally here. You can now select multiple blocks, group them into containers with shared styling and animations, and use ruler guides, a grid overlay, and design reference images to align everything properly.
DevTools now has a DOM Inspector that lets you inspect only what's in the preview iframe and stays connected through refresh and rebuild. New styling tools like text shadow and per-side borders, a redesigned image uploader for logos and avatars. The Library Script operator can now show video comparison thumbnails like the Change Video operator does, and the build progress bar tracks actual progress and aligns with toasts.
Preview links can now be shared from a whitelabel domain (preview.ad-delivery.com), keeping the Cavai platform URL out of external-facing links.
Plus a batch of bug fixes across preview, enterprise admin, paste ordering, video autoplay, and Change operator animation timing.
Select multiple blocks and wrap them in a group container with shared styling and animations.
Multi-select with Cmd/Ctrl+click, range select with Shift+click, group with Shift+G. Drag blocks in and out of groups, nest up to 3 levels deep, and place container blocks (conversation, slider, form, video) inside groups. Groups have their own background, border, padding, box shadow, and animations.
Ruler guides, a grid overlay, and a design reference image overlay for the builder preview.
Add up to three ruler guides per axis with snap to common positions (25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, 75%). Hold Shift for precise placement. Switch between percent and pixel display, or click a value to type an exact position. The grid overlay has adjustable size and opacity. Upload a design reference image with adjustable opacity and scale to compare against the original. Settings persist between sessions.
Inspect the preview iframe directly from DevTools, without opening the browser console. Stays connected through preview reloads.
Four tabs: Elements shows a full DOM tree with layout badges, block ownership, asset info, and a flow stepper for browsing and executing flow steps. Console captures engine logs without needing to switch console context. Styles shows box model and computed properties for the selected element. Page Weight measures published bundle size and inventories media assets with block/operator attribution. Dev mode only.
Text blocks now support drop shadows, and borders can be configured independently per side.
A new section in the Effects card lets you add a shadow to any text block with X/Y offset, blur, and color controls. The border settings now have an all/per-side toggle for setting different widths on each edge. Buttons can change font weight on hover and active states.
Library scripts now show video comparison thumbnails and support custom CSS class inputs.
Scripts with video parameters display before/after previews, just like Change Video. When a script swaps both vertical and horizontal video, each format gets its own side-by-side comparison. The Click Target script (previously "Choice Click Target") now accepts custom CSS class names alongside block palette values, with a toggle per cell. Also fixes a crash when using multiple library scripts in the same creative.
