September's headline is the reporting dashboard. A new flow choices view shows how users navigate through conversational creatives, performance cards now show trends compared to the previous period, and every chart has redesigned tooltips. The data pipeline was updated to support the new flow analytics. On the platform side, a timezone selector lets you view reports in any timezone, and the release notes site you're reading right now was completely rebuilt to be easier to maintain and keep accurate.
See exactly how users navigate through your conversational creatives: which choices they pick, where they drop off, and how different creatives compare.
A new flow choices view in the reporting dashboard shows user decisions with bar charts and percentages at each step. The full data pipeline was updated to support this: raw interaction logs are now processed into per-creative summaries, giving teams a much clearer picture of how their creatives are performing.
The site you're reading right now was rebuilt from scratch to be easier to maintain, more accurate, and better looking.
Release notes are now generated directly from what's actually shipped, so nothing gets missed or written incorrectly. Over 1000 automated checks run before every publish to catch mistakes. Monthly overviews like this one are created automatically, pulling together updates from every part of the platform into a single page.
Mobile tap tracking now distinguishes deliberate taps from accidental touches while scrolling past the ad.
Instead of counting every touch as an interaction, the engine measures how far the finger moved between landing and lifting. Only taps where the finger barely moved are counted, keeping scroll-throughs out of your interaction metrics.
Fixed a bug where changing text on blocks with rich text formatting could break rendering.
Updating text on blocks that use rich text could cause the block to stop rendering correctly. This is now fixed, and text changes work reliably whether or not the block uses formatted text.
Pasting text into the rich text editor now strips unwanted formatting automatically.
When you paste content from external sources into the rich text editor, any hidden formatting is now cleaned up so it matches your creative's styling. The clear formatting button has also been moved to the far right of the toolbar for easier access.
You can now choose which timezone to view your reporting data in.
A new timezone selector in the Reports toolbar lets you switch between timezones when reviewing campaign performance. This is especially useful for teams running campaigns across different regions, so you can see exactly when engagement happens in the local time that matters. Also includes a fix for daylight saving time offset calculations.
Cut and copy shortcuts no longer accidentally remove flow operators when you're editing text.
Previously, pressing Cmd+X or Cmd+C while typing in a text input could unintentionally cut or copy flow operators in the background. Now the keyboard shortcuts only affect the text you're actually editing.
The platform backend now serves the data that powers the new reporting dashboard and flow analytics.
New data processing behind the scenes makes it possible to explore how users move through creatives, giving teams a clearer picture of flow-level performance.
The Reporting Dashboard now has fully customizable CSV exports.
Choose which metrics to include, set the date range, and group results by hour, day, week, or month. A new export dialog makes it easy to configure what you need, and your preferences are saved per report so repeat exports are quick.
Interaction data from conversational flows is now processed and summarized, powering the new flow view in the reporting dashboard.
Raw interaction logs are turned into per-creative summaries so the reporting dashboard can show which choices users make and where they drop off.
A new widget in the reporting dashboard shows which choices users select in conversational flows.
The flow choices widget displays choice distributions per node with inline bar charts. When viewing a single creative, choices are grouped by message node. When comparing multiple creatives, you get a merged overview plus per-creative breakdown. Only actual user decision points appear; automated steps are filtered out.
All chart tooltips have been replaced with a new rich tooltip system that looks better and shows more useful information.
The heatmap, time series, bar chart, and engagement funnel all use new floating card tooltips instead of browser defaults. Flow node tooltips show reached, chose, and skipped counts along with flow outcomes.
KPI cards now show percentage change compared to the equivalent previous period as colored pills.
Green and red pills on each KPI card show how the current period compares to the same length of time before it. Only appears when both periods have data, so you won't see misleading comparisons.
The resource picker now supports two-level sorting and shows impression counts at every level.
Sort campaigns and creatives independently: newest, oldest, alphabetical, or by impressions. Impression counts appear next to campaigns, groups, and individual creatives. A "Selected first" toggle floats campaigns with selected creatives to the top.
Metrics are now organized by category, and a new Video Through Rate metric shows how many viewers watched the entire video.
When choosing which metrics to display, they're now grouped into categories like Core, Video, and Rates, making it easier to find what you need. Video Through Rate tells you what percentage of viewers watched the full video.
Reports now include a direct link to open the creative in the builder, so you can jump straight from performance data to editing.
The release notes site was rebuilt from scratch, replacing hand-written pages with a system that's easier to maintain and harder to break.
Every release and monthly overview is now generated from structured data instead of being manually coded. This means new entries are consistent, searchable, and can be filtered by repo. Interactive features like video chapter navigation and sticky cards are also new.
A new monthly page brings together everything that happened across the entire Cavai platform in a single view.
Each month gets its own page showing all features, improvements, and fixes grouped by product area. These pages are created automatically when new releases are published, and can be previewed as drafts before going live.
Release notes are now generated directly from what was shipped, so nothing gets missed or described incorrectly.
A single command pulls in all the changes from a release, figures out who contributed, and creates the release note. It also updates the monthly overview automatically. If someone has already polished the text, re-running the tool won't overwrite their work.
Over 1000 automated checks run before every publish, catching formatting issues, missing information, and inconsistencies.
Before anything goes live, the system checks every release note for correct dates, proper author credits, and copy quality. This prevents mistakes from reaching the site.
