(Beta) The creative preview (both standalone and the builder preview for fullscreen formats) should now automatically adapt when opened on a phone. Instead of trying to load the regular desktop preview (which often crashed on mobile), the phone gets a clean, lightweight view of the creative, where fullscreen ads are displayed as actual fullscreen ads. Works for all formats: fullscreen, bubble, fixed, percent, and Advantage (with native scrolling). A small dropdown lets you switch between formats.
Note: This is still in beta. We recommend testing the preview on your own phone before sending it to clients. Let us know if something looks off.
The creative frame in the standalone preview (the full-page preview you open from the builder or share as a link) should no longer jump around when it loads or when you switch between device sizes. It should stay centered and stable throughout.
Creatives that use the library script to swap between videos now use streaming when enabled. Previously the full video file had to download before playback could start, even if streaming was turned on. Now the video streams in chunks, so playback begins almost immediately. This also reduces the total data the ad uses, which could otherwise cause Chrome to flag and remove it from the page.
The quicklook popup (hover over the eye icon on any creative in the creative list) now scales the creative to fit inside the popup properly. You can also switch between formats and interact with the creative directly from the list without opening the builder.
The phone frame (shown for fullscreen formats in both the builder and standalone preview) now displays your actual current time instead of a hardcoded clock. Minor visual cleanup of the device selector and format selector in standalone preview. A size indicator now shows at the top of fullscreen formats.
